That is the beauty of Konknni language. 'Panchalipi' Can there be any better
proof of secularism in a language? While the language adopted every culture
down the centuries, the present day konkniwallas want to monopolise this
language. It is high time Sahtiya Academy recognises all 5 scripts for
konknni as part of preservation of our rich heritage.
