With all my humility I salute JoeGoaUk for the wonderful service he does for
Goa and Goan cause. His Pictures, videos and writings are thought provoking.
He touches issues which Goan Media fail to highlight. He is always gracious
in his writings and responses. Most humbling to my mind, though anonymous,
never mis-used his un-known identity. Why his identity perplexes people?
He may work as individual or as a group, it his decision. Lets us respect
his privacy.
I have a request to JoeGoaUk post pics or video to show us the current state
of Hygiene at GMC Bambolim. GMC was the filthiest place I had ever seen
(July 2002) in my entire life. General Ward number 13 to be more precise,
which was on First Floor toward the end of the building (left-side). There
was this long area with taps to wash which was inside the ward breeding
filth. Below, on ground Floor there used to be cattle herd taking shelter
from rain during the night. I was in this hospital in 2002 because my
sister was admitted who eventually passed away as the right diagnosis could
not be done. The reason, CT Scan machine was not functional, it is the
different story that her Husband & In-Laws did not take my advice to shift
her to Bombay Hospital in Bombay. At that time, I had asked one of the
senior doctor about the pathetic hygiene condition and non functional
medical equipment but the reply was ' we (Dr) do not run the hospital but
the government'
Warm regards,

Pandu in his below mail has hit the nail on the head as regards the fuss
about finding the true identity of JoegoaUK. Joe is doing a fantastic job
on Goanet for the benefit of all Goans all over. As he wishes to be
anonymous why should we force and try to find out who he is. What benefit
would this be?
As Edward rightly says Ambe kha, rukh kiteak mezta. Rather than trying to
identify him, let us all salute him and appreciate the service he is
giving to Goans all over. All his messages, photographs and video clips
are outstanding, thought provoking and most interesting. I keep
wondering how he has the time and energy to do what he is doing. He seems
to be everywhere anytime in Goa. Let Goans not be obsessed in knowing
his identity as he himself desires confidentiality but acknowledge his
most valuable services. Our efforts could be directed to doing more
important things for the betterment of Goa. Thank you JoeGoaUK and keep
on doing the fabulous work you are doing. May you be blessed always!!!
Dev borem korum
Camilo
