The Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Mr. D. Subharao earns Rs 1, 28, 500/- a month. He is a signatory to all the currency notes in the country but his salary is four times less than what the Advocate General of Goa Mr. Subodh Kantak mints. When the Goa Government has been doling out Rs five lakhs a month to its Advocate General why would anybody opt for the RBI top job? Subodh Kantak for sure won’t!
