If by doing any service to others you feel proud that you have done some good to others, it is an error on your part, because whatever art or knowledge or ability or possession you have, you have got it from the society. So there is no obligation, if you utilize it for the society. If you are proud of it, you develop egotism and egotism leads to ‘mineness’ (Swami Ramsukhdas)
