I do however believe that the rights of every individual need to be
respected - even if they have not respected the rights of others. For,
if we allow crooked lawyers and their politician-friends to 'screw' the
least among us (even a Micky Mouse) without due process, no saying what
they will do next.
This is the pivotal sentiment behind the 'Innocence Project".
On a related matter, I invite you to read the Goa Childrens Act and an
opinion on that. Then, you ask yourself a simple question: Suppose a 10
year old boy or girl in Goa accuses you of having molested him. How will
you defend yourself in 2010?
