the increasing influx of migrant population in Goa is changing Goa's social fabric drastically for the worse,partly we goan's are to be blamed for this problem because of our i couldn't care attitude,and the politicians we have voted to power.the persons who are in power today sadly have no vision for our state, their only agenda is to increase migrant vote bank to come to power and to stay in power by encouraging growth of slums and shanty localities, Moti dongor is a case in point in Margao.Also our youth are reluctant to take general trade jobs like masons, carpenters,electricians,vegetable and fruit venders,this gives migrants opportunity to grab these jobs and there by settle in GOA,Unless we address these issues the situation is bound to deteriorate further, to day our law and order,Health and sanitation,local self governance is crumbling.time is running out, we need honest upright people at the helm of affairs wake up Goans before it is too late.
