Goanet mourns the passing of Cornel da Costa in London, England - Sep 10/10

Gabe's contemplative writing will not come as a surprise to Goans. To what he
wrote, there are experiences where people take advantage of help and kindness.
Yet all of us have many experiences of receiving a lot of help from total
strangers. And sometimes nothing from people one would have thought / expected
/
or counted-on for help.
In helping others, we should not expect any return-favors from the particular
person. But favors are returned in the large scheme of things. Often "making
someones' day" does not involve cost or sacrifice. A warm smile, helping
someone
cross the road or a blood donation.
On Goanet, people make an issue when none exists. When that does not work, they
get personally abusive as a camouflage to their super-ego. In the current
high-tech and Internet world, there are some that show off by 'eating' others -
parasites whose mindset is "I am smarter." But it is easy to spot those
belonging to the Species 'Goan'; Genus 'CRAB'; Differentia 'Ignoramus'.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. The only thing that I regret is having put my
hand in my pocket to help the G.O.A. (U.K.) Ltd survive. Also all those who
visited us when we lived in a bed sit and ate and drank to their hearts
content,
then turned against us...these people I resent very strongly. Also those who
went out of their way to deliberately smear us and give comfort to the guilty -
they will be judged!
