Goanet mourns the passing of Cornel da Costa in London, England - Sep 10/10

A man of intelligence, integrity, independent thought, intolerant to inequality
and certainly not averse to irascibility when he sensed injustice.
This and obviously much more was Cornel Da Costa. In the short time that I
knew him I found Cornel was a man who stuck to his guns; come hell or high
water. Yet he was courteous and accepted the right of others to their opinions.
He had a fine sense of fair play. I remember only recently my silly
tactlessness toward another member on GX. Even though Cornel was in the throes
of vitriolic crossing of swords with this gentleman he immediately jumped on my
posting and sternly informed me that I was crossing the line of decency.
I will miss him and wish him eternal rest and peace. And may his family and
friends receive the strength and grace to bear their heavy loss.
He will be a sad loss to Goem and especially the Goemcar Diaspora.
