Hi Carmen,
My sentiments exactly. We need to do something drastic NOW before it is too
late. Taking part in demonstrating against corruption on Anti Corruption day
should be only the beginning of what should be continuous protests in every
region of the state of Goa so that those perpetrating these selfish acts are
removed from their pedestals and listen to the cry of the people who are fed up
with what is going on. This is however only the first step. Efforts to rid
ourselves entirely this disease must continue in every aspect of Goan life.
Let us not forget that this culture of corruption is foreign to our way of life
and has only come in after the so called "Liberation" which has transposed this
scourge common in "Mother India" to our unpolluted and tranquil land.
Therefore, let us get rid of this foreign ideology and rebuild Goa on our Moral
Principals prevalent to Goa prior to Liberation.
