The political allies- Congress and NCP- are at loggerheads in Goa with both the
party leaders publicly criticizing each other. Mud slinging between Congress
and
NCP got prolonged further with latter terming Goa chief Minister Digambar Kamat
as `father of corruption.’
A day after GPYCC President Sankalp Amonkar termed Sharad Pawar-led party as
`liability on Congress' and Jose Phillip D’Souza a corrupt minister,
Addressing
a press conference in Panaji on Thursday NCP Goa spokesman Trojano D’Mello
called chief minister Digambar Kamat as a ‘father of corruption’.
Two political allies, which rules the state has stooped down the worst level
with allegations and counter allegations leveled against each other. D ’Mello
said that Pradesh Congress Committee members and Youth Congress leaders were
involved in a massive scam by siphoning funds collected in the name of flood
victims.
Showing the original receipts printed by the youth congress, D’Mello said that
the receipts did not have any serial numbers on them. “Enough scope is left for
siphoning the money by the youth congress D’Mello said.
