What a shame, 7 years incomplete and substandard, but will the Minister in
charge and his collaborators in the field do the right thing and resign or
submit themselves to the scrutiny by independent auditors so as to clear
themselves and show some degree of transparency? If this were to happen, then I
think the majority of Indians will wonder whether they have slept and woken up
the next morning in another country. It is a shame that India is not only not
prepared but the collapse of the bridge in the facility showcases India as a
laughing-stock. This is not the first instance of bridge collapsing, and what
has been done to improve the situation? as we can see, Absolutely nothing. We
as Indians are therefore shamed before the whole world who see India as a land
touted to be the next America. A land of prosperity pursuing the welfare of its
people. India should have been way ahead of China in all fields, but
corruption, greed, nepotism, caste, creed, religious intolerance and many, many
other social and political ills are keeping India and Indians from achieving
their potential.

Let us hope that this serves as an eye opener to all especially our leaders to
take the necessary steps to ensure change and address these evils head-on in
order for India to prosper and uplift the standard of all its people not only
the ruling few and the rich.
