INDIAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION KUWAIT
After a stupendous success in the very first year Indian Football
Federation Kuwait (IFFK) announces the start of season 2010-2011.
7-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT:
The season will be kicked off on 24th September 2010 with 7-a-side
football tournament to be held on the Salmiya Baladiya Stadium starting
from 7am onwards. Teams and players affiliated with IFFK will show their
footballing skills after a five month hiatus. Trophies and cash prizes
are in the offing for the best performing teams in this tournament.
ANNUAL GENERAL BODY (AGM) MEETING:
The Federation held the first Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on 21st
September 2010 at The Indian Academy School, Salmiya-Kuwait and the IFFK
council members elected the following personalities for the season
2010-2011:

Hon. Gen. Secretary - Kevin Vaz
Hon. Treasurer - Cajetan Ferrao
Hon. Sports Secretary - Midas Fernandes
Hon. Asst Gen. Secretary - Jose Afonso
Hon. Asst. Sports Secretary - Luciano D’Souza
Registrar - Amaldo Fernandes
Media & Public Relations Head - Alexandro Gomes
Hon. Executive Members - Siddique T.V, Nishad Ahmed, Mansoor Kunnatheri,
Abdul Razzaq, and Cosmo Fernandes.
ABOUT IFFK COUNCIL MEMBERS:
Adolph D’Souza, a suave professional has been in the forefront of Indian
football soccer for the last three decades in Kuwait. Now actively
involved in Veterans Football Club, he brings a new wave of inspiration
to the Federation. Derrick Gomindes, a football professional to the core
and known very well by all Indian football aficionados in Kuwait and in
Goa gives the Federation an added boost and confidence to forge ahead
with determination. Midas Fernandes brings with him the organisational
expertise having been involved in numerous footballing activities in
Kuwait and a member of IFRA. Cajetan Ferrao, an upright professional
instils solidity in the Federation with his no nonsense skills. The
young guns comprising of Alexandro, Kevin Vaz, Luciano D’Souza, Jose
Afonso, Amaldo Fernandes, Nishad Ahmed, and Mansoor Kunnatheri oozes
inspiration and fresh ideas. Siddique T.V., Abdul Razzaq and Cosmo
Fernandes brings in discipline and commitment to the game. Overall the
Executive Committee of the Federation represents the rainbow of a
beautiful tomorrow.
UPCOMING FOOTBALL SCHEDULE:
The federation also announces the commencement of the grand IFFK
football League starting from 1st October 2010. To make the competition
more exciting this year, the IFFK members have decided to give away gift
vouchers worth KD 4000.000 to the best performing teams and players.
INDIAN FOOTBALL REFEREES ASSOCIATION (IFRA):
All the matches will be officiated by the only Indian expatriate
professional referees body in Kuwait, The Indian Football Referees
Association (IFRA).
The IFFK federation is open to all football loving aficionados with
absolutely no discrimination attached to this beautiful will all love -
FOOTBALL. Let’s all enjoy the passion of the game which we all adore.
