The crackpot piece of writing above is incredibly funny and ironic. Here is a
man who blatantly abuses Hindus and Indians because of their beliefs and
practices in almost every incoherent prattle he posts on Goanet and elsewhere.
And he has the gall now to attack me with his broken English just because I
spelled the Konknni word for jaggery in accordance with how I pronounce it in
my Konknni dialect.

The fact that the Konknni word for jaggery is also spelled exactly in the
manner that I spelled it, i.e. "god" is clear from the following link:

http://indianfood.about.com/od/glossaryofterms/g/gud.htm

The pertinent quote is:

"Also Known As: Gaur, Gul, God, Gur, Bella, Bellam"

I have now seen at least 3 men on Goanet who are inciting hatred against me
among Goanetters who hold their particular religious beliefs and speak their
particular dialect on Konknni, using this "god" spelling canard as a pretext

Who do they think they are? Guardians of a theocracy that has banned all other
dialects and spellings of Konknni words, except theirs?

Cheers,

Santosh
