Bab eric, you thinking o what?
(1)"However, I abide by the teachings which are considered as told by
the God, because they help the humanity to be restraintful (whether out
of god-fear or otherwise)
RE: If you believe too many stories as "considered as told by god", better
don't believe only!!!!!
It sounds like goddo saying that "abide by the teachings which are
considered as told by the God, because they help the humanity to be
restraintful" Then what is 9/11? Then what is crusade, inquisition,Jihaad,
sati,mati and gobor and also Ayodhya-hattya-kand?(Ayodhya massacre?)Their
action are "restraintful" o what?
And 'god-fear or otherwise' mean what?
If proper food eaten properly then thinking automatic become well.
(2)"On the other hand: what if God does exist and you have been denying
the existence all along?"
RE:That is like making deal with God like possorkar o what? If he there
you believe, na zalear foo cares?

Message:11- definition of sandwich.
"n.
?
a. Two or more slices of bread with a filling such as meat or cheese placed
between them.
b. A partly split long or round roll containing a filling.
c. One slice of bread covered with a filling.
In this regard Santosh Helekars patollyo
cannot be called a sandwich and of course not a god sandwich ?"
A patolli fits quite perfectly your definition b.
Patolli is exactly 'partly split long or round roll containing a filling'.
Therefore, in that regard Santosh Helekar's patollyo can be called a sandwich
and of course a god sandwich
because Konkani original script is nagari which is the bases of devnagari and
other non-sharada script derivatives.
In any case, it should be far from conveniently used Roman script. The correct
spelling of god is god and not
godd and other absurd versions mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

Issue 1039" To Dona Curiosa...
>I tend to agree with Nascy..."
Madam Curiosa, I am intrigued by your curious name. I would love to have a name
like yours,
only I would have to be called Don Curious!
I am not among the 'many who want to claim 'they are one', simply because
'they' can not be 'one'.
You say,"They are sceptics..." Not all are, Dona Curiosa. Some are, some are
not. I myself have noticed
a third kind. They believe in God, the Divine, or what have you and they
believe in science,
too. I don't know what to call them. 'Impressible' may be? for they believe
everything which seems
contradictory! But they tend to react unsympathetically to garbled, faulty
reasoning, therefore they may
not be as imbecilic as they seem.

RE:I hope you get a response to all that above from the brain guy himself, for
he does fascinating research
on brain and its response to stimulii. He has literally worked on bird brains
too!
>"( like the movie Jefferson's Institute), etc., etc."
RE:That is a curious example to give to a topic which you hold serious enough
for you to respond to? God exists
because they show him in Jefferson's Institute!? Have you seen a one called
'Awake'?
>"...in fact you can perceive life and electricity through only sense of touch."
RE: I do not buy that madam Curiosa. I can see electricity in a spark. But you
may call that an effect
of electricity. But then so is getting an electric shock an effect of
electricity.

RE: I wonder if 30 years back there was as solid scientific research as there
is today. The debate over the
existence of God and His non existence has been the ONLY constant. FAITH has
been there constantly, and it
has been there prior to the birth of science as far as I see. That interests me
very much.

RE: May be village science, Dona Curiosa, but flawless in her logic somehow.
> Life is much more vast than Science can explain.??
RE: Now that I agree with even without proof!
