Actually Goa made a bid for the National Games http://www.india-server.com/news/goa-to-host-36th-national-games-in-2011-3758.html but because of the famous efficiency of our Govt. these Games seem to be postponed http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/more-sports/others/No-National-Games-in-Goa-in-2011-CM/articleshow/6228147.cms and as can be expected there are allegations of jiggery pokery http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/sports/another-controversy-hits-national-games-2011-at-goa_100221331.html If at all such Games have to be held, can someone tell me why that massive infrastructure must be built in some place such as Neura or Dhargal where after it is built it is hardly likely to be used? If it has to be built does it not make some sense to build it in a conveniently central location such as Goa University's backyard so that at least once in a while it might be used for the University or School tournaments? -- Augusto Pinto 40, Novo Portugal, Moira, Bardez, Goa, India E [email protected] or [email protected] P 0832-2470336 M 9881126350
