On page 164 of Salman Rushdie's 'Shalimar the Clown' there is a
reference to 'Lucky Lucan'.

I have a quiz question for you clever folks: This Lucky Lucan or Lord
Lucan as I recall that nutcase was actually, has some connection to
Goa.

The quiz question is like this: Can you tell me what exactly is the
connection of this Lucky Lucan with Goa.

Please remember that I am not one of those polymaths like those SEQC
wizards like Harshvardhan Bhatkuley or Rajiv D'Silva or Aniruddha Sen
Gupta or Vidyadhar Gadgil who know everything about everything.

This question is asked by a quizmaster who does not know the answer.

However it does not mean that it is worthless answering this question:
the first person to give the right answer will get a certificate of
commendation from a very impressive personage. ;-)

Cheers
Augusto
