Dear Nadine,
I've always found those fiddly malaria tablets too troublesome to administer to
children. And if I'm not mistaken their efficacy is less than desirable. I have
a daughter and I've always used Odomos which protects her from mosquito bites
and mosquito-borne diseases. Close all doors and windows by six in the evening
and you'll cut down on the number of mosquitos entering the house. There is
also
a bat sold in India, with a mild current, which is excellent at zapping
mosquitos.

Other than these minor precautions, you are no more likely to get ill in Goa
than you are in say London or New York.

Best,
Selma
