From Disability Rights Assoc, Goa (DRAG)

Dear Friends,

Disability Rights Association of Goa is organising an International Clown Show
on 15th November 2010 at 6.30pm at Kala Academy Auditorium to raise funds for
the Association.

The International Clown show is part of the International Clown Fest which is
being held for the first time in India and is presently underway in Mumbai from
5th to 14th November. It has professional clowns coming all the way from
Canada, USA, Europe, Malaysia and South Africa who have taken clowning as a
profession and have years of experience performing for various charitable
causes. The purpose of the International Clown fest is to break the myth that
clowning is only for the uneducated and cannot be taken up as a full time
profession. The International Clown Fest is supported by the World Clown
Association. The International Clown Fest is brought to India by Mad Hatters,
a family entertainment division of Light House Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. whose
director Martin D’Souza also known as Flubber the clown is a professional clown
himself.

The International Clown show is awesome, silly, imaginative, full of fun,
laughter, humour and the unexpected with a dash of physical comedy! Add grace
and ineptitude in equal measure, then watch the clowns waltz from the sublime
to the ridiculous by way of the outrageous. The ingredients are outstanding
talent blended with music, comedy, balloons juggling, unicycling, acrobatics
and non-verbal entertainment wrapped around comedy.

The show will be a professional choreographed show which will include at least
7 International Clowns consisting of clown gags, juggling, acro-balance and
audience interaction. The actual show would be a 100 minute show with a 10
minute break. It will be a presentation of high energy act along with display
of various skills interwoven to make the show hilarious and entertaining. Clown
humour with such polished artists never fails for audiences of any age.

The lavish full tilt show comes complete in a suitcase, then explodes on stage!
Laughter and enchantment percolate during the inventive show as the clowns
enter into a playful conspiracy with the audience. A sure delight for the whole
family. 100 minutes of non stop laughter.

Further details are available in today's O Herald O. Tickets are available at
Champs Panjim, Magsons Supercentre Miramar and at Kala Academy.
