Dr. Meenacshi Martins a reputed artiste and a social activist will guide
the participants of the workshop on the theme “The role of women in art
& culture” on 16th November 2010 at 10:00 am at the Conference Hall,
Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.
The workshop which is organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa will focus on
issues related to women particularly the artistes of the tiatr stage.
On 16th November 2010 at 3:30 pm a Mega Musical Concert of women
artistes only will be performed at the Pai Tiatrist Hall, Ravindra
Bhavan, Margao. Mrs. Antonette Mendes, a versatile singer and leading
lady of innumerable tiatrs of yesters years will be the Chief Guest.
A brief formal function will be followed by the ladies musical show
which is co-ordinated by Sharon Mazarello.
Topmost stars of tiatr stage will participate in the Musical Show. The
show will have entertaining songs and skits which will be rendered /
acted by only female artistes.
There are no tickets. The admission is free. However, the required
number of complementary passes can be obtained from the counter of
Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.
