Dear Goanetters,
I have just heard that Fr. Leonard Moreas the Parish Priest of Navelim, took
Goa's self proclaimed king "momo" Churchill Almeao, to the cleaners during a
Feast day Mass, when a volunteer tried to make a place for king momo, in front
of congregation in Church . I am not sure if it's true, could any one enlighten
me on this one, any Navelimkars on goanet ?
If it's true I salute Fr. Moreas for his stand against people who use the Church
for vote bank politics, I do know Fr. Moraes for many years he is one of the
most straight forward priest, he also gave Banaulimkars one of the most
beautiful church in Asia.
We do need a lot more Priests like Fr. Leonard Moreas who will stand against our
corrupt politicians and their corrupt ideologies.
