When the WORLD G.O.A.N. network was started years ago (G.O.A.N. stands for Goan
Organizations, Associations, NG0s-Non-profits) we had no idea it would silently
grow into the largest Goan network group in the world. With affiliates on every
continent (except Antartica) it is by far the largest worldwide Goan network
committed to Goan welfare, uniting Goans, and building a better Goa.
>From our most recent affiliation with Goan Chitra Museum to the Foundation of
>Excellence which hands out scholarships to needy students, we have made a
>difference in the lives of Goans. Not the usual song, dance, and picnic
>celebrations, but volunteers and groups who believe in Goa and bringing Goans
>together through dedication and hard work while staying away from the
>limelight.
>From such varied partnerships like ALEXYZTOONS to DISABILITY-GOA to a KONKANI
>FILMBOOK to STUDENT WORKSHOPS to SENIORS ASSISTANCE to WOMEN ISSUES to
>CHILDREN RIGHTS to ORPHANAGES to the GOA ASTRONOMY SOCIETY, etc. etc. etc. so
>many of you have formed an alliance with us over the last 10 years. To all of
>you we say THANK YOU on this special 10 year anniversary of the umbrella
>organization GOA SUDHAROP which has reached across barriers to unite Goans in
>common purpose.
The Goa Sudharop awards on Jan 5 in Goa is a special commemoration for all you
have done through the WORLD G.O.A.N. network. You have made it happen. Please
take a bow for all your hard work. We salute you.
