To Goanet, Now that the prestigious and revered International Publication- NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC has certified the degradation of Goa and the total destruction of its culture, will the People of Goa now wake up and run to the rescue of our degenerated, disfigured and ruined land by voting out the corrupt and selfish politicians and SALVAGE what remnants of our beloved country we can before it is totally obliterated from the face of the earth?
Frankly, I cannot understand what else needs to be drilled into the psyche of the Goans so that their eyes are opened to what is happening. Even the current corrupt politicians should be able to perceive the consequences of letting Goa sink into total ruin and before it is too late could they please wake up and set a course which will pull Goa from the brink into some semblance of decency or are we on Goanet just casting our pearls to swine. I can see why some look to the old days of Portuguese Rule as the good old days which although harsh, did not plunge the country into the current state of ruin. One can only surmise that this so called Liberation is a disease much worse than Colonial Rule if that is the case. Manuel ( Eddie) Tavares.
