*Greater Goa John M Vaz, Aldona* PWD Minister Churchill Alemao is keen on bringing Konkani-speaking people from Karnataka to Goa. I would request him to first drive out the Rahejas and other such builders for whom he has allotted our land, and settle Karnataka’s Konkani-speaking people on the land. These people are ‘zonkars’. They come every year to Goa to register their right in their respective comunidades, collect ‘zon’ (dividend) and go back. Churchill wants to bring in Karnataka areas for more land to satisfy his greed and make his advocate daughter the first Chief Minister of Greater Goa. Bab Churchill, please note. You may survive in Goa, but in Greater Goa you will not only lose your shirt, but make us all landless.
