And if things going on as they do now, don’t know the village can cope up in the coming days particularly the weekends. Almost everything available there, beside cheap beer etc, some Goan food also served and rechad bangdde going for just Rs.20 each. There is stall of its own merchandise like caps, Polo T shirts etc. The stage on the ground remains vacant or unused except where thre are dances performed by various groups. A group per day Bands mostly play bollywood. I guess they go by the crowd. On the second day, the children park had amusement park for kids and adults. Merry go round, skills, rides etc. Seems become very popular from day one. Ride tickets Rs.30 each, some come down to Rs.25 next day. http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoaukiffi/5204261794/sizes/l/ Various security personnel, Goa police, CRP, Pvt Security, Plain cloth police. watch towers etc Average one person for every 5 mtres both side But it seems somebody has broken our batman’s hand on second day. He was taken off and brought back next day at 5pm Again, there are some damages spotted at another theme stage ‘Cowboy?’ And again, the film shooting cameraman was broken into two All this happened on the second day I.e. 23rd Nov. 2010 http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoaukiffi/5203659883/sizes/l/ Our policeman in the lookout towers should be constantly looking out. But some seen busy on their mobile yet another seen busy writing down something on his note pad from the tower – this was observed at KA where the tower seen manned by one person only. Delgates on the second day got vietually emply goodie bags. Just some programe schedules but not the large two books. They were told that the books will arrive by 6.30pm Don't know why they had to give the empty bags. As said, food court doing brisk business. Biryani going for Rs.60 and lollypops for Rs.60 for 5. But the same biryani near Maquinez palace sold for Rs.80. When asked, we were told they pay more rent in this area. At 9pm we went to book some tickets for ‘Beyond the Steppes’ scheduled at 10pm as the screen showed 189 available out of 500 seats but the staff at counter said ‘all sold out’ Don't trust the display screen/monitors Funny system! ‘O Maria’ premier on 30th Nov. so says Kevin d’melo on his face book. Another red Carpet at Kala Academy http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoaukiffi/5203662303/sizes/l/ The crowd is mainly of migrants up to 95%
