Huge money spent on security and police personnel But it seems most of them were not knowing what exactly they were suppose to do. Yes, it was a beggars paradise. Hawkers (and Beggars) were occupying the main walking path thus causing obstructions to free movement. No one cares to mind them not even the police. As if their prime concern was security or to look for terrorists? But intelligent terrorist could take any form including that of beggars and hawkers. Most beggars were hawkers themselves. Some migrant/hawkers kids at Kingfisher village restaurant were going from table to table to beg for food and money harassing the tourists etc See pics Most hawkers and beggars were migrants who reside locally at Campal Parade grounds It’s like they are forming their own village there. And the number is fast increasing by new births and by new migrations. It’s a shame that the authority could do anything about it for many years now. Most of our police mamas seen busy talking on their cell phones, even those who were supposed to look out constantly from the watch towers – see pics and video in the end. Another gimmick by ESG (I think I brought this up in the last year’s report). VIPs or Film stars are received at the entrance of Old GMC from where they walk the red carpet to Inox. It is presented in such a way , as if large number of film buffs or enthusiasts or delegates are waiting out there. Film actors/directors are made to waive out to them across the road. But hardly anybody is there, even if they are, they don’t want to know.. All they (migrants) may want to know is about their favourite heroes like Salman, Ajay etc And what more? There are huge vazes to obstruct the clear view, then there are security or police standing on the road Then again the passing traffic including large vehicles like buses etc – see clip in the end. Who they really try to fool? This year, there was no entertainment whatsoever (Except DJ music, live band /dances at Kingfisher village). There should have been one stage towards KA only to depict Goan culture and tradition like Dances, Songs etc by different groups or actors. Now, who inaugurated the Multiplex and Courtyard?
