Pertinent to your mail below, I don't think IC Colony is the newer
settings for Goans. As far as I know goans have been here long long before.
I know of many who have/had property/ies within the Colony, Goa type
houses.
Yes there is an influx now, where many want to shift base to IC Colony
cause of the goa-like-atmosphere around one gets as he/she steps out of
their home.
Me being a Colony member (formally from heart of TOWN) would like to
say, this is the place to be/stay in, if you ever think of coming and
settling in Mumbai. Peaceful, Clean, Safe and Happening
With the Parish Feast nearing, one has to take a walk along the lanes
and bylanes of IC Colony, Marian Colony, Mary Land Colony, Holy Cross
Road .. and you can smell the Pulav and Sorpotel cooking........ yeah,
brings back memories..... This goes on during various festivities too -
Christmas and New Year following soon.
