Anyway Soter is a man totally dedicated to Konkani, very knowledgeable and a man of tremendous integrity, not given to polemics. Of late he's been struck with Parkinson's. He was a close friend who cared for Felicio Cardoso even when he was very sick. In fact for many years till the end Felicio lived with him and his family. Never a man to beat his own drum, he always kept a low profile but never made any kailoreo - in short, though diplomatic, he never refrained from calling a spade a spade. Cheers Xavier
