GOA SUDHAROP would like to thank all its donors, supporters, volunteers, and well-wishers as we complete our 10 year anniversary. Because of your support we can do the work we do - all on a volunteer basis (no one receives a salary) and no administrative expenses (no rent).
All monies received go to charity or projects. No money is received from government or corporate grants, nor do we seek or accept the patronage, awards or "generosity" of politicians. It is a people's movement to BUILD A BETTER GOA. No politician is invited to a Goa Sudharop event. Thanks to Goa Sudharop's WORLD G.O.A.N. network (stands for Goan organizations, associations, NGO's/non-profits), we were able to accomplish much in 2010. The WORLD G.O.A.N. network is the largest Goan alliance around the world committed to Goan welfare and making a positive difference in the lives of Goans. In 2010, we donated money to orphanages, organized youth seminars, organized volunteer activities consistent with our 2010 theme YEAR OF THE GOAN VOLUNTEER SPIRIT, launched a Konkani filmbook, gave awards to anti-mining, anti-mega project activists, gave scholarships, and much more.
