I never did say that lata did not do us proud......of course, she did us
proud, very proud in fact.
I do know that there is a tremendous diffference pre 1961 and post 1961.

What about Lata Mungueshkar and other Hindu Goan singers, did they not
do us proud?
No one is against recognising talent – The point is: Do you want to be
portrayed as a DRUNKARD community and is that ok, just because Anthony
Gonsalves (Goan catholic) did us proud?
What about Amar, Akbar and Anthony? Have you not heard of the slogan
“Hindu Christao” bai, bai?
