Victor Carneiro: Director, Information Systems, CompSource Oklahoma Victor Carneiro is the director of information technology (CIO) for CompSource Oklahoma, one of the largest workers' compensation insurance carriers in the state, with nearly 28,000 businesses and government agencies. He has more than 20 years of Information Technology experience in management, application architecture and multi-platform infrastructure. Victor has a diversified background in technologies related to retail/distribution, manufacturing, finance, education and government. He is very active in professional organizations, serving as the current president of the Oklahoma City chapter of the Project Management Institute. He formerly served as Vice President and current Programs Chair of the Association of Information Technology Professionals and is a member of the Oklahoma City CIO forum. Victor is passionate about technology and when time permits, he teaches related classes at University of Phoenix’s Oklahoma City Campus, where he has been an adjunct professor since 2003. He is also a member of the advisory committee for the Business Technologies Division of Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma City Campus. Victor holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with at minor in business from the University of Central Oklahoma and master’s degree in information systems from the University of Texas at Arlington.
