BICHOLIM DEC 28: A 25 year old person from Uttar Pradesh today died when he
was crushed in a stone crusher at Vagus Pali.
According to the available information one Sureshkumar Nishad from Uttar
Pradesh went to the stone crusher in the morning at about 6.30 am. As he was
working at the site his T-shirt went into the belt of the stone crushed and
so he was pulled inside, within minutes he was crushed in the crusher.
The Bicholim police conducted the panchanama and PSI, T P Walke is further
investigating the case under the guidance of PI, Harish Madkaikar.
Christmas celebrations prove costly
BICHOLIM DEC 28: Christmas celebrations proved costly for a family in
Sanquelim when they were robbed off their gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh.
According to the available information the family of Mr Mendese from Housing
Board Sanquelim on December 24 went to Kerala to celebrate Christmas and
spend the vacation. Today on coming back home to their horror they found
their gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh stolen from their house.
As per reports the culprits entered the house from the door at the terrace
of the house and decamped with the booty. Bicholim PI, Harish Madkaikar is
further investigating the case.
