CM Godfather Of Monti Dongor
The infamous Monti Dongor is again in the news and as usual for all
the wrong reasons, as violence flared up yet again in Digambar Kamat’s
personal “Shangri-La”, just a few weeks ago there was a bout of
violence between supporters of two rival groups during the Municipal
elections. Both the involved in this fresh case of violence, are also
the main accused in the swords case as well, and our Chief Minister
has confirmed that both these groups are his supporters. Well, well,
well, it’s crystal clear why these miscreants are still on the prowl
in his very backyard, not that we didn’t know about it, but now it’s
on record as it has come straight for the horse’s mouth.
Chief Minister Digambar Kamat has always had a soft corner for the
residents of Monti Dongor, Davorlim and Kharebandh needless to say, he
cares more about them than the actual Goans, as he plays Godfather to
his vote bank, that’s the reason these anti social elements are not
scared of anyone, nor worried about the consequences. There is also a
video in circulation with our CM having drinks with the accused at
Monti Dongor. Our CM has been bending over backwards trying his best
to get their illegal housing units legalized, whereas he has done
absolutely nothing to protect the houses of coastal Goans who are
having sleepless nights because of the CRZ nightmare. Our CM, not so
long ago had told us that he did not need our votes, as he is sure he
can win entirely with his vote bank politics.
After the latest bout of violence, both, the police and our CM have
assured that action against the accused will be taken as per the law,
but correct me if I am wrong, was this not the same law that was
around, at the time of all the flare-ups involving these same
miscreants or the even the swords case ? So why was no action taken as
per the same law, then ?
Digambar Kamat further said that the previous flare-ups were not
related to politics or elections, I wonder how he came to that awful
conclusion, as it was very much evident, that it had everything to do
with politics and elections, I am sure, as usual our CM has his own
very personal reasons to say otherwise, to misguide Goans.
Goa is fast catching up with lawless eastern frontier of India and the
reason for this deterioration of law and order in Goa is totally
because of our high and mighty politicians who want to play Godfathers
to the antisocial elements, each and every politician has his own band
of goons to take care of problems and problematic people and they are
well protected by the law enforcement agencies. That is the main
reason why these criminal and antisocial elements survive and thrive
in Goa.
