Gold started 2010 at appox $1,120 an ounce.
Gold ended 2010 at appox $1,420 an ounce.
At the very least, those who were holding gold saw their investment
rise in value by 26%.
Those who have been here just a few years may remember me urging
people to buy gold when it was closer to $300 an ounce.The lucky few
that did then, made a return of 100% on their investment this year.
When gold was closer to $400 an ounce, I was cross posting articles
here explaining why it would hit $1,650. I also mentioned that when it
did hit $1,650, I would be in a position to retire.
Well that day is not too far away. The western democracies are currently
doing all in their power to devalue their currencies. Individuals here are
now forced to find vehicles to store wealth that are outside the control of
government.
Welcome to 2011!
2011 also promises something else.
An ounce of gold has historically traded at 15 times the price of silver as
silver is found about 15 times more often than gold.
The price of silver today is $31 per ounce.
The price of gold is $1,420 an ounce.
Do the calculation yourselves, folks.
