I sent a speed post from the Panjim GPO on last Friday, and it reached a
friend in Varca only today (Tuesday). Didn't know that it moved so slowly
within Goa itself, even given the weekend intervening. What is the
experience of others?
Have had some fairly good experiences with despatches done via the Porvorim
Sorting Office (off the highway, near the P&T Colony there, if I identified
it right). Items posted late evening can sometimes be delivered even the
next day itself within Goa. Perhaps the registration and tracking process
slows down the speed post delivery. FN
