Talking Photos/Video: The First Children Tiatr Festival Inaugurated with Tiatr BESAUM Lucky are those children who could actually perform on stage professionally. Thanks to Tiatr Academy of Goa who provided them the platform to show their inbuilt talents. At our times, we could occasionally do it at our village in front of a very small audience using bed sheets as tiatr ‘podd’de’. Well, we were to attend at least one of the shows but an email (reminder) made me to change our plans at the last minute. I said let’s go today Prince Jacob was to attend the inaugural function etc Sadly, Jacob could not make it due to his father-in-law sudden illness. Traditional lamp lighted by a youngest or the future tiatrist Bai Josepha D’Souza, the present day tiatrist that was Prince Jacob, the yester years or the seniormost tiatrist Cyriaco Dias along with the TAG President Shri Toamzinho Cardoso and the TAG member secretary Vicotry De Sa (see pic) The judges for the festival were also called up on the stage to light up the lamp. They are Sharon Mazarello, Fr. Bernard Cotta, Anil Kumar and the fourth one? Soon after, the curtain raised up of the first tiatr of the First Children Tiatr Festival ‘Besaum’ Let the tiatr clips and pics do rest of the talking

It’s about 200 seating capacity – see pic. First day was fine, not many seen standing.. Atleast 35% of the chairs would be occupied by the friends and f amily memberst of the actors, press and the guests etc. leaving behind about 130 seats to others. Hence obtaining a complementary pass from the TAG Office Campal is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
