Many Goans in Goa as also a few from abroad have their minds on Goa and what it happening right before their eyes. Today while chatting I with a Goan who works in the MEast and currently in Goa -- it was hard to hear his anguish at what he was seeing and encountering in his village. Right down to him asking the Panchayat as to how the hills that are part of the village, been overrun by huts and houses; the garbage, the traffic, etc. How did it happen? My suggestion is best left unsaid here. ++++++++++++++ Anyway, the second piece at the following link is about Punjab and its deterioration. Ravneet Singhs piece 'It will take 15 years of social revolution for Punjab to recover’ is worth looking at in context to Goa, and our spectacular ills. Of course it has a political angle, but also conveys the fact that the time for petty politics has crossed line and trenches too ofter--way far. Years ago I learnt something. Pimps will always be pimps. Rarely does one find one with a good heart!
