According to Vasco police, George Mayday had parked his scooter (GA-02-L-5348) along the Bogmalo road and was waiting for his child to receive him after school. A speeding car Maruti Ritz (GA-06-D-2680), driven by Rohit Prakash Pandey (18), rammed into the scooter from the rear and Mayday was killed on the spot. An eye-witness to the incident said the car was at a high speed, when it rammed into the scooter. “The man was flung to a distance of nearly 10 metres and banged his head on a stone.
