Dear Ignatius,

I am not an authority on Konkani but I consider it my duty to correct anyone who commits a mistake so that it is not repeated, especially by those who are just learning the language. We should be guiding Konkani language learners and not misguiding them. I, for one, appreciate anyone pointing out my mistake/mistakes and I am willing to be corrected.

Let us keep one thing in mind: Life is a learning process; we are all learning......all the time!

I know very well that Domnic is an authority on Konkani and it's usage
when he explained to Selma about the differences between a prostitute
being called a 'cheddi and a widow being called a rannd bhaile.
What are the explanation for these konkani words, please explain it to me Kolwont,Pamprell, Folgollem, and a Kolug the last one I know what it means.

Ignatius Fernandes.
