A Tribute to Chris Perry
Sonia Sirsat, Anthony San, Sucorro de St. Cruz, Mukesh to participate in
the Musical Show
“Chris Perry – Konkani Git-Songitacho Patxay” (The Emperor of Konkani
Song & Music) a Musical Show produced by Kala Mogi Candolim will feature
the singing sensations of Goa namely Sonia Sirsat, Anthony San, Socorro
de St. Cruz besides Clarissa, Sonia Fernandes, Shaik Amir, Maria Cardozo
and Irene Cardozo. Directed by Tomazinho Cardozo the music is arranged
by Mukesh Ghatwal. The show will be staged today i.e (19th January 2011)
at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on 20th January 2011 at Kala Academy, Panjim
and on 28th January 2011 at St. Thereza’s Open Air Hall, Candolim. All
shows will start at 7:00 pm.
The Musical Show “Chris Perry – Konkani Git-Songitacho Patxay’ will
delight the audience with songs originally composed by Chris Perry and
sung by numerous singers including Lorna, Usha Utap, Olavo, Seby and
others in the past. The immemorable songs of Chris Perry will be
rendered by Sonia Sirsat, Anthony San, Socorro de St. Cruz and others.
The show is presented with the support of Tiatr Academy of Goa. It has
been also supported by HCN, GTDC, Tourism Department and Dalgado Konknni
Akademi. There are no tickets. The programme is open to public. The
seating in the auditorium will be on “First Come First Serve” basis.
