This is quite pessimistic a view. If nothing was being done, we would have complained too. We seem to be in perennial lament.
An initiative of this nature is to be cautiously welcome. Agreed it is not enough; it could be a starting point. While capitalism has been rapacious and uncaring in many parts of the planet, at least some on this list have have shown an interesting degree of social concern in the past.
