In his message on the subject of "Goan separatist identity", Frederick Noronha gave a reference to an article by Nishta Desai, and he gave the following url:

Although this organisation was formed in Paris, mainly by non-resident Goans, it would be wrong to assume that this trend of thought enjoyed absolutely no sympathy within Goa." I googeld "Goa Freedom Movement", and the first article that I got was one by Lamber Mascarnehas, with the same title. What I would like to know who were the founder members of the 1964 movement in Paris, and who in Goa had shown sympathy for it. Also, what were the aims and objective of the movement, and what is the present status of the same. Best regards, U G Barad
