To Goanet - "SUCCESSFUL" ? I guess this means 3 cheers for the "brave" and "courageous" Digu then? (Ask Oscar Rebelo - he'll tell you a thing or two about Digu's bravery)
Goans sure know how to set low standards. I mean, here is a case of setting the bar under ground level, walking over it, and then exulting that you have attained success. Let's put this in perspective: Digu is on the team of the miners IN OPPOSITION to the people of Curchorem on who the miners have rained ruin. Digu makes a big hoo-ha about not letting the miners shit directly on your home. Instead, he promises that the miners will shit in your garden. This is hailed as a great victory by all. Lovely. ps: Every project Goa's politicians initiate involves land use, land acquisition, land conversion, mining, or construction. For how long are Goans going to tolerate this? Apparently, forever.
