All the Crew names appeared in the news sounds like non Goan names.
There are no Goans to work on the Goan Barges? Or the Barge owners dont like
Goans to work on Barges?

Response:

I think the right person to answer this question will be Mr Chorchill as he
claims there are over 5 Lakhs employed in this trade.

It is well know that Mr Digu and his 40 Alibaba's have not learned any lesson
from River Princess saga. Trust me, the barges and other ships that navigate
in Goa water (some are anchored for months) are lest seaworthy.

In regards to the employment data/statistics of Goan Youth in any of the trade
sector is non-existence with Corrupt Goa Government . In 2009, on my way to
and from Sanguem via Macasana, Panchwadi and Tilamol, I noticed 80-90 percent
of the truck are driven by migrant drivers. I guess they are also accounted
as Goans since the ministers must have already given them ration cards. Below
video by JoeUkGoa speaks volumes of the mining truck menace.
