Facts are indisputable.
Einstein did not live in the 18th century.
Not one, but two people pointed this out to Dr. Ferdinando dos Reis Falcão.
Any reasonable person would acknowledge his mistake. A honorable
person would apologize for the same. A person who, instead of doing
the right thing, comes up with the following response,
"Calling it 18th or 19th century is subjective."
cannot be a reasonable or honourable person.
When that same person adds:
"There is also another trait among the humans with mediocre knowledge.
In almost all hospitals that I worked in, even at GMC during my student
days; the peons, attendants and even some nurses who’ve had some
years of experience presumed they knew more than the doctor to advise
patients. Their qualifications? Been working in the hospital for so many
years!"
I hate to say this, Dr. Ferdinando dos ReisFalcão, but chances are that
you were the only doctor treated by the peons in the way you described.
And you know what, I would not be surprised if their presumptions where
better than yours.....
