Cecil Pinto wrote: [2] Miguel Braganza is a gentleman who has a track record of honestly, credibility and efficiency. He has done, and continues to do, more for Goa and Goans than Rajan Parrikar will manage in many lifetimes. There are many here in Goa who will vouch for Miguel's integrity. I DOUBT the same can be said about Rajan. Cecil Pinto wrote:[3] I can expect a FOULMOUTHED tirade from Rajan, attacking me. That is all he can do. Attack all who disagree with him on the Net. Cecil Pinto wrote:[4] Miguel on the other hand has a real life existence that I wish the next generation of Goans can emulate. RESPONSE: I, for one, will not debate/dispute/dispell the 'foulmouthedness' of either Rajan Parrikar or Cecil Pinto. My Gmail archive advises me NOT to do that. However, when it comes to integrity (as per present evidence), understanding that ALL of us are imperfect, I vouch for Rajan Parrikar. I also vouch for Miguel. That having been noted, Rajan Parrikar has raised a couple of points wrt Miguel's postings. I would have thought that one way of demolishing those 'Rajan points' was to prove them wrong and to place counter points. Miguel would be the best person to to that. Cecil's intervention (above) is a poor attempted obfuscation of a rather straightforward position put forward by Rajan. I suggest that we debate the points raised and actions of the debater - and not the debater. ps: As far as 'doing more for Goa and Goans', I know a number of Goans who can say the same about Churchill, Babush and Digu. jc No private 'foulmouthedness' please.
