This is to announce that the GRA float in the MCFC [Mapusa Carnival Float
Competition] has got the 6th covetted prize of Rs. 12,000/- which prize as
been alloted to 'Traditional MCFC No.1 float of GRA and has been collected
by the MNE [Mapusa Nagrikancho Ekvott] member of the GRA Shri. Cedric
D'Souza of Mapusa.
This has come as a surprise to the float participants who by doning exhotic
masks and head gears [ a derivative Kunbi-Arab hybrid version] have
distributed over 5000 GRA leaflets throughout the float track.
The GRA float was third in line and one of the first to finish the track.
A plus point for GRA in that it's 3 to 4 buses from Mapusa and surrounding
areas to cart people for the 15th March Azad Moidan Peaceful Protest Rally
is ensured.
