I believe that the Goa-TOI is outdoing itself in its already well developed foolishness. Yesterday, in its Speak Out column, it asked the following question: Is Goa government doing enough to increase the number of girls in the city?
Wonder if TOI is moving up to the Psych facility at Altinho. A few questions: 1: What should the Goa Govt do to "increase the number of girls being born in the city"? 2: Which "city" is TOI talking about? 3: Which bright spark ignoramus dreamed up this question? 4: Would introducing more casinos "increase the number of girls in the city"? 5: Hey guys .... Feni anyone? Liberation .....for sure! >From the 'just say NO to crack desk' jc http://tinyurl.com/GoaGirla Is Goa government doing enough to increase the number of girls in the city? 8 March 2011, 04:10pm IST The male:female sex ratio at birth in Goa touched an unfavourable 109:100 in the first nine months of 2010. With the trend during the last few years showing that there are more boys than girls being born in Goa, this appears to be a matter of concern. The government is yet to begin any serious programme to increase the number of girls being born in Goa.
