St. Xavier’s College, Goa, Department of Mass Communication and
Videography presents ‘IRIS 2011 – Students’ film festival’ , which will
be held on the 18th and 19th March 2011.
IRIS is a state level event where colleges from around Goa are invited
to showcase their talents in the field of media and cinematography. It
provides a platform to the students of College and Post-graduate courses
to express their creativity and put forth their ideas and opinions. It
is essentially a film festival with students’ productions, but for the
first time IRIS is also opening up for competition in the field of
photography, web designing, magazine designing and filmmaking.
The screenings are open to the public. It will be held at the College
Hall on the 18th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on the 19th from 9:00am
to 1:00 pm.
