A question: which ferry/bus takes one from Castle Rock (on the hills) NNW of Goa to Majali (near the southern coast of Goa? Could it be that RF took the train to Londa; the bus from Londa to Hubli or Karwar; crossed the Kali (now bridged) to Sadashivghad; took a bus to Majali - got harrassed by Indian border customs chaps (why on the way out?); walked the 'no-man's land to Pollem; was welcomed by Portuguese troops to Goa!
