Every year about 25.000 Israeli ex-soldiers travel to Goa, many of them involving themselves with drugs during their stay and getting into troubles. Some Goans and Israelis established in Goa help those young men and women such as Dr. Jawaharlal Henriques, of St. Anthony's Hospital in Anjuna. Also Hillik Magnus, a former Israeli spy, is doing his work mainly in Goa, helping Israelis in difficulties. Avshalom Mor, a permanent Israeli tourist in Goa, after sheltering drugged Israeli in Goa, tries to bring them back to Israel, what can cost the family around 30.000 dollars. Even the Israel Government, tells the report, has established offices in India to help Israelis to return to Israel. A good work is also done by the Jewish Centre in Goa in Anjuna managed by Israeli Alon Ron and financed by the Orthodox Jewish Community, where Israelis come together every Friday.
